Luxury Valencia Wedding Venues: Where to Say I Do in Style
Five places to celebrate your wedding in Valencia, Spain, from a five-star beachfront resort to a former Carthusian monastery.

The best luxury Valencia wedding venues are Las Arenas Balneario Resort for a five-star beachfront wedding, La Cartuja de Ara Christi for a former monastery, Espai Los Toros for modern Calatrava architecture, Masía Aldamar for a country estate in Chiva and Villa Delia for a neo-Gothic manor in Picanya. All five are within about 30 minutes of Valencia Airport.
Just before sunset, the light in Valencia turns warm gold over the sea, the orange groves and the old stone facades. As a wedding filmmaker in Spain, I find few cities offer such a range of truly luxury wedding venues: a five-star beachfront resort, a centuries-old monastery, avant-garde architecture and aristocratic villas hidden in gardens. I have chosen five that suit different kinds of couples, with real data on capacity, price range and services so you can find the one that fits your wedding.
1. Las Arenas Balneario Resort — Five-Star Glamour by the Sea
Capacity: approx. 100–600 guests · Price range: €€€€ · Nearest airport: Valencia, 15 min
On site: ceremony, reception, catering, accommodation, gardens, pool, parking

Las Arenas is Valencia’s grande dame: a five-star resort on Las Arenas beach, ten minutes from the old town. Its Poseidón ballroom seats up to 350 guests, or around 600 for a cocktail reception, and the sea-view terraces are ideal for golden-hour vows. The in-house team handles décor, live music and Mediterranean cooking, while 253 rooms and a spa keep guests comfortable all weekend. If you want city, sea and five-star service in one place, this is the venue.
2. La Cartuja de Ara Christi — A 17th-Century Monastery Turned Wedding Venue
Capacity: approx. 100–1,000 guests · Price range: €€€€ · Nearest airport: Valencia, 20 min
On site: ceremony, chapel, reception, catering, accommodation, gardens, parking

Twenty minutes north of the city, in El Puig, stands a former Carthusian monastery founded in 1585 and protected as cultural heritage. La Cartuja de Ara Christi quietens a wedding party the moment they walk in: stone cloisters, a consecrated chapel, courtyards and orange trees everywhere. The estate hosts one wedding per day, can welcome up to a thousand guests across its spaces, and the Casa del Prior offers accommodation for the couple. History, privacy and scale: few venues in Spain combine all three so naturally. Stone cloisters also carry sound, which is lovely for music and something I plan for when placing microphones for the vows.
3. Espai Los Toros — Avant-Garde Luxury at the City of Arts and Sciences
Capacity: approx. 150–600 guests · Price range: €€€€ · Nearest airport: Valencia, 15 min
On site: ceremony, reception, catering, terraces, parking

For couples who prefer clean lines to candlelit stone, Espai Los Toros sits inside the Palau de les Arts, the opera house designed by Santiago Calatrava at the City of Arts and Sciences. An illuminated vault, two large outdoor terraces and that white futuristic architecture make every frame look editorial. Something I have learned filming weddings across Spain is that bold architecture rewards bold filmmaking, and a location visit before the day matters even more in a space like this. At night, with the reflecting pools lit up, this venue is genuinely cinematic.
4. Masía Aldamar — A 14th-Century Estate in Chiva
Capacity: approx. 100–500 guests · Price range: €€€€ · Nearest airport: Valencia, 30 min
On site: ceremony, reception, catering, gardens, parking

Masía Aldamar is what many people picture for a destination wedding in Valencia: a 14th-century farmhouse in Chiva, half an hour from the city, with gardens that hold over 500 guests for an open-air ceremony and a banquet hall seating 350. The estate works with El Alto, one of the region’s most awarded caterers, and books a single event per day, so the whole property is yours. Centennial trees, honey-coloured stone and long summer evenings: rustic on the surface, luxury underneath.
5. Villa Delia — Neo-Gothic Romance in Picanya
Capacity: approx. 80–300 guests · Price range: €€€€ · Nearest airport: Valencia, 15 min
On site: ceremony, chapel, reception, catering, gardens, parking

Built in 1829 in Picanya, fifteen minutes from Valencia, Villa Delia is a neo-Gothic manor that feels lifted from a novel: pointed arch windows, a private chapel, a pond reflecting the façade and a glazed pavilion for up to 300 guests. It is the most intimate venue on this list and arguably the most photogenic, since every corner of its old gardens frames well. If you want your wedding to feel like a period film with modern comfort, this villa suits the part.
City, Coast or Countryside: Choosing Your Valencia Venue
Valencia gives you three very different weddings within half an hour of each other:
- Beach and city: Las Arenas puts the sea, the hotel rooms and the old town within minutes. It is the easiest for guests who want a city break around the wedding.
- Modern architecture: Espai Los Toros suits couples who want an evening wedding with a striking, contemporary look.
- Heritage and gardens: La Cartuja de Ara Christi, Masía Aldamar and Villa Delia offer history, privacy and one event per day.
From a filmmaker’s point of view, the best Valencia weddings are planned around the evening. In June, a ceremony about 90 minutes before sunset gives soft light for the vows and golden hour for portraits while guests enjoy the cocktail. Before you book, ask each venue about the music curfew, the covered plan B and whether they allow outside suppliers.
If you are comparing regions, my guide to the top 12 best wedding venues in Spain covers the whole country, and the top 10 Alicante wedding venues cover the Costa Blanca just south of Valencia, where I work as a wedding videographer in Alicante. For the legal side, read getting married in Spain as a foreigner.

If you are reading this, your wedding matters, and it matters to me too. I am Ismael, a wedding videographer working on destination weddings across Spain. I plan every film around the venue, the light and the timing of your day. If one of these venues is on your list, tell me your date and let’s talk about your wedding.
Questions
How much does a luxury wedding venue in Valencia cost?
As an approximate guide, expect roughly €150–250 per guest including venue and premium catering, with full weekend buyouts at resorts costing more. Off-season dates (November to March) can lower prices by around 20–30%.
When is the best time to get married in Valencia?
May, June, September and October offer warm, reliable weather without the August heat. Valencia enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year, so spring and autumn evenings are usually mild enough for outdoor ceremonies and dinners.
Can foreign couples legally get married in Valencia?
Civil marriage in Spain usually requires residency paperwork, so most international couples sign the legal documents at home and hold a symbolic or religious ceremony in Valencia. Check your own case with the civil registry or your consulate.
Which Valencia venue suits a very large wedding?
La Cartuja de Ara Christi can welcome up to around a thousand guests across its spaces, Las Arenas hosts around 600 for a cocktail reception, and Espai Los Toros up to about 600 guests.
How far are these venues from Valencia Airport?
All five are roughly 15 to 30 minutes from Valencia Airport: Las Arenas, Espai Los Toros and Villa Delia about 15 minutes, La Cartuja de Ara Christi about 20 and Masía Aldamar about 30.
