Destination Wedding Packages: A Complete Guide
What to expect from destination wedding packages, and the film collection I create for couples marrying in Spain.

Destination wedding packages bundle the main parts of a wedding abroad (venue, accommodation, catering, planner, flowers and often photo and video) into one booking with clearer costs. They save time when you plan from another country, but check exactly what each line includes. The wedding film is often reduced inside a bundle, which is why many couples book it as its own package.
Planning a wedding from another country is exciting and overwhelming in equal parts. Good destination wedding packages exist to take that weight off your shoulders, bundling the people, the logistics and the craft into something that works, so you can focus on the celebration rather than the spreadsheet. Not all packages are equal, and the details matter. In this guide I explain what these packages typically include, what to look for, and the film collection I offer international couples marrying in Spain.
1. What Destination Wedding Packages Usually Include

At their best, destination wedding packages bring together everything you need under one roof. Typically that means:
- The venue and accommodation.
- Catering and drinks.
- A planner to coordinate the day.
- Flowers and styling.
- The people who capture it all: photographer and videographer.
Some all-inclusive packages also add legal guidance, welcome events and guest transport. The appeal is clear: fewer suppliers to chase, clearer costs, and a team that already knows how to work together. The key is understanding what each package covers, what is optional, and where the quality really lives, because the cheapest bundle and the best day are rarely the same thing. For a sense of the overall numbers, see my guide on how much a wedding in Spain costs.
2. Why Your Wedding Film Deserves Its Own Package

When everything is bundled together, the film is too often an afterthought: a single camera, a rushed edit, a generic result. Yet your wedding film is the one thing that lets you relive the day: the sound of the vows, the speech that made everyone cry, the way the light fell at sunset.
That is why I believe the video deserves its own dedicated package rather than a line in someone else’s list. A specialist film package means the right number of cameras, proper audio, and a filmmaker whose only job that day is to tell your story. Before you accept the film inside a bundle, ask three questions: how many hours are covered, how many operators come, and how long the final films are. My guide on wedding videographer cost explains the usual ranges in Spain so you can judge whether the bundle price is realistic.
3. The Signature Collection: My Destination Wedding Film Package
This is the core of what I offer international couples in Spain: a complete film package designed so nothing important from your day is lost.
Your Whole Wedding, Filmed as a Film
A complete film package for destination weddings in Spain.
The coverage
- Full-day coverage, from the morning preparations alongside you both.
- Ceremony, celebration and the first hour of the party.
Filmed with
- Two 4K cinema cameras, so no key moment is missed.
- Aerial drone footage in collections II and III (weather and local rules permitting).
You receive
- A cinematic 3–5 minute highlight film to share.
- A 15–25 minute film of your whole day.
- Full vows and speeches, uncut (collections II and III).

Every element of this collection exists for a reason. Two cinema cameras mean the bride’s entrance and the groom’s face are both on film. The drone places your story in the landscape that brought you to Spain. The dual delivery, a short trailer plus a full feature film, gives you both the highlight to show friends and the complete, unhurried film to keep for life. It is your whole wedding, filmed as a film.
4. What Makes Our Packages Different

Plenty of studios can point a camera. What international couples need is someone who understands their wedding in Spain: conversations in your language, the local light, the Spanish timeline that runs late into the night. I work closely with you from the first message, anticipating the moments that matter to a couple travelling from abroad.
I pay attention to the golden hour, the sound of the ceremony and the rhythm of a Spanish celebration, and I keep a calm, unobtrusive presence so you barely notice the camera. I also coordinate with your photographer and planner before the day, so the timeline leaves room for portraits at the best light. The result is a film that feels like the two of you, in the country you chose to marry in.
5. From First Hello to Final Film

Working together is simple:
- A first conversation about your story, your venue and what you want from the film. No pressure.
- Planning. Once you book, we stay in touch as the day approaches and fine-tune the timeline so the filming flows naturally.
- The wedding day. My team and I quietly capture everything while you live it.
- The edit. Weeks of careful editing, colour and sound, before your trailer and full film are delivered.
If you are still at the start of the process, my guide to a destination wedding in Spain covers regions, seasons and costs, and the guide to getting married in Spain as a foreigner explains the legal side.

Questions
What do destination wedding packages usually cost?
It varies widely by country, guest count and inclusions. Film packages are usually quoted separately from venue bundles. Mine are tailored to each wedding, so the fairest next step is a short conversation about your date, location and what matters most to you.
What is usually included in a destination wedding package?
Typically the venue and accommodation, catering and drinks, a planner to coordinate the day, flowers and styling, and sometimes photography and video. Some all-inclusive packages also add legal guidance, welcome events and guest transport.
Are all-inclusive wedding packages worth it?
They save time and simplify payments, which helps when you plan from abroad. Check each line carefully, though: photography and film inside a bundle are often reduced to a few hours and a single camera.
Can we book our own videographer instead of the one in the package?
In most cases, yes. Ask the venue or planner whether outside suppliers are allowed and whether there is any fee, and confirm it in writing before you sign.
Do you travel across Spain and beyond?
Yes. I film destination weddings throughout Spain (coast, islands, countryside and cities), and travel is agreed clearly in advance, with no hidden surprises in your package.
Can you tailor the film package to our wedding?
Yes. The Signature Collection is the starting point; coverage, a second day, extra hours or additional films can be added so the package fits your celebration.
